PURPOSE:To enable wedges to be easily and exactly combined together, by magnetizing the wedges for each slot and organizing the multi-throw wedges to be integrated together. CONSTITUTION:The outer diameter D1 of the outer circumferential section 12a of each wedge is made equal to or shorter than the outer diameter of a rotor core 6, and the width A1 of the outer circumferential section is formed smaller than the width A2 of the inner circumferential section 12b. And at one end of the circumference, the whole wedges are combined together with a connecting section 12c, and each wedge is magnetized so that the outer circumferential section 12a may be arranged each with the same polarity. And the multi-throw wedges are inserted into slots 11 provided with rotor windings 5. When the rotor core 6 is rotated, the outer circumferential section 12a of the magnetized wedge provided for the rotor core 6 is also rotated, and so an electrical signal according to the rotational frequency can be obtained from a magnetic detecting element 14. |
