The system used to convey bogeys (16) and pallets (15) has a conveying track (1) with two endless V-belts (K) and two non-driven supporting-chain conveyors (T) which are arranged to the side of the said V-belts (K). A supporting pendulum (12) is arranged, so as to pivot freely about a spindle (13), in the transition region between two adjacent conveying track sections (3a, 3b). The upper edge (14), which projects into the region of travel of the bogey (16), of the supporting pendulum (12) catches hold of the bottom strip (17) of the bogey and moves with the said strip (17) until it is taken over by the adjacent conveyor belt (3b). The supporting pendulum (12) is displaced by a pallet on the other hand into a lower by-pass position, so that the pallet can pass without hindrance. The difference (H) in height between the upper edges of the supporting chains (T) and of the conveyor belts (K) is furthermore selected such that, when the pallet is loaded beyond a certain point, the outer runners (18) of the pallet are lowered through distance a onto the supporting rollers (T) by means of the load-dependent deflection of the pallet, the elastic compression of the V-belts (K) and/or the elastic compression of rubber blocks (4) on which the conveying track rests. This results in relief of the load on the conveying track (1). <IMAGE>
