PURPOSE:To obtain a hybrid cell strain with a high efficiency, by adjusting the cell cycle of ast least one cell strain to be fused to the miotic phase, and carrying out the cell fusion during the time. CONSTITUTION:A hybrid cell is prepared between cell strains or a cell strain and a normal cell by the cell fusion method. In the process, the cell cycle of at least one of the cell strain is adjusted to the miotic phase (M phase), and the cell fusion is carried out during the miotic phase.
