PURPOSE:To prevent a chopper from damaging due to the drop of the generated voltage by opening switch means for opening or closing an output supplied to the front stage of a main inverter from an auxiliary rectifier when the speed of a rotor decreases to the set value. CONSTITUTION:The output of a commercial power source 2 is output through a rectifier 3, a smoothing condenser 4, a booseter chopper 6, a main inverter 7 and a filter 8. On the other hand, it is also supplied through a flywheel drive circuit F and an auxiliary inverter 13 to the winding 14 of a flywheel unit P. If the power source 2 is interrupted, the operation of the inverter 13 is stopped, and the generated voltage of the flywheel unit is output through an auxiliary rectifier 15 to the chopper 6. When the speed of the rotor of the flywheel unit decreases to the set value, the thyristor 15a of the rectifier 15 is turned OFF. |
