PURPOSE:To enable a motor to stop rotating and the rotational direction to be changed, by providing a bearing rod for a brush and connecting a travelling means to the bearing rod. CONSTITUTION:When travelling plates 8 for two brushes 1 are shifted in the direction as shown by arrow heads, the brushes 1 are separated from a commutator 7. As a result, even if electric current is fed to an armature 9 from an electric source, the current is not sent to an armature coil when the the brushes 1 are separated. Thus, the rotating of a DC motor can be stopped. When a field magnet is arranged with four poles and the winding of the armature coil is wave-form wound up and four brushes are arranged at the angle of 90 deg. and electric current is sent to the brushes which are mutually adjacent to each other, then the rotational direction of the DC motor can be changed. |
