The arrangement for damping oscillation of gas in the combustion chamber (3) of a liquid-fuelled rocket propulsion unit comprises damping chambers (10) arranged near the fuel injector (1; 2, 7, 8, 4) head and connecting with the combustion chamber. These chambers are arranged within the injector head and spaced over the entire area of the wall (9), forming the fuel entry front. The damping chambers are pref. arranged within and connect with the spaces (7) between the injection nozzle exits (4).
