PURPOSE:A plasmid for expressing fused protein having tryptophan promoter/ operator sequence and leader sequence and part of tryptophan E structure gene and further multi-purpose cloning sites linked to the part of the gene. CONSTITUTION:A plasmid containing tryptophan promoter/operator sequence and leader sequence and part of tryptophan E structure gene, and having multi- purpose plural cloning sites linked to the tryptophan E, e.g. pBR322-trpEm, etc. The plasmid can be used as a vector for expressing fused protein utilizing the cloning sites. Thus, physiologically active peptides, e.g. beta-endorphin or cardionatrin, can be produced with a high expression efficiency. |
