According to the invention, the assembly of a tube provided with a threaded neck terminated by a non-threaded head portion, a screw cap and an intermediate sealing cover comprising a bottom sheet and a lateral skirt, is characterised by the following features: a. The sealing cover 10 carries a gripping means 12 protruding from its bottom sheet 11, the thickness of the said gripping means 12 being 0.8 times less than the pitch of the thread of the cap and its overall diameter D being intermediate between the inside diameter and the diameter at the bottom of the thread of the said thread of the cap; b. The cover 10 and the head portion of the neck both carry means 14 which cooperate in the fixing of the cover 10 on the neck during the closing of the tube. The cover of the invention applies to tubes of cream, gel or hygienic or cosmetic paste, and to tubes of other products of similar consistency. <IMAGE>
