CONVERSION OF STILL PICTURE INFORMATION

摘要

PURPOSE:To smoothen a display action to a display screen by providing two sets of small-capacity memories at a preceding stage of a picture memory and rewriting contents in the picture memory sequentially and continuously with use of the memory. CONSTITUTION:Picture data of one frame received from a terminal station of a digital transmission system is supplied to a buffer memory 3 through an interface circuit 2. The buffer memory 3 is constituted of two A and B memories 14 and 15 and controlled by a buffer memory control part 6 so that when one can be in the write state, the other can be in the read state. Data stored in each memory is alternately read out and supplied to a picture memory 4 which is always reading. The picture data in the picture memory 4 is sequentially read out through the control of a control circuit 7, and outputted to a television monitor 8 through a D/A convertor 5.
