A fuel injection valve is proposed, which serves for the fuel supply in a fuel injection system for mixture-compressing, applied-ignition internal combustion engines. The fuel injection valve comprises a valve housing (1), into the mouth piece (7) of which a valve seat body (11) is inserted, through which a valve needle (17) projects, the closing head (18) of which interacts with a valve seat (13) in the valve seat body (11). Between an armature (23) connected to the valve needle (17) and the valve seat body (11), a stop bushing (20) is mounted onto the valve needle (17) and fixed in such a way that the stop bushing (20) permits a valve needle stroke (H) in relation to the valve seat body (11). <IMAGE>
