<p>PURPOSE:To make a copy continuously at high speed by providing a copy apparatus adapted to transport set plural documents in order to an exposure portion to be sequentially copied, and besides make copies on copy sheets corresponding to a document size on setting plural documents at one time. CONSTITUTION:A document holding endless belt 6 comprising a plurality of document holding portions 7 is disposed opposite to an opening 1 disposed on the front of a copying apparatus in such a manner as to feely run, and carried with rotation of a driving roller 16. Each document holding portion 7 is formed by mounting a transparent document cover on a document set table in such a manner as to freely open and close. The endless belt 6 is provided with start holes and document dividing holes formed along both side edges thereof at designated intervals. The respective holes are detected by detectors 24, 25, and according to the detection signal, the transport of the endless belt 6 is controlled. At a drum 26, an image is formed on a photosensitive drum 29 through an optical system 28 to make a copy on a sheet in one of cassettes 4a-4c selected according to an output from document size detectors 38a-38c.</p> |
