Method for the initial oil filling of an internal combustion engine and its corresponding embodiment

A method and a device for the initial oil filling of an internal combustion engine are described with an oil circuit, which comprises an oil pump, oil consuming points and oil ducts connecting these together, together with a filling aperture. The method is characterised in that the oil is injected under pressure into the oil circuit by way of the filling aperture connected to an oil duct and in that the connection between the filling aperture and the oil circuit is then closed by a sleeve inserted into the filling aperture. The device for implementing the method is characterised in that the filling aperture is part of a fixing bore in an oil filter inserted in the oil circuit, which is connected by way of a transverse bore to an oil duct.
