PURPOSE:To eliminate baking of a CRT, to extend the service life, to save the power charge and to eliminate inconvenience to the user by lightening and displaying the CRT at a normal lightness only when an ID card is loaded to a loading inlet. CONSTITUTION:When the user loads an ID card to the ID card loading inlet, a detector 27 detects it, a detection signal is transmitted to a display device 22 via a controller 26 and the CRT4 is lightened and displayed with a normal lightness. When the transaction is finished next, the detector 27 detects the end of transaction even when the customer exists by providing a prescribed timer. That is, when the user completes its transaction and the next user loads the ID card to the loading inlet, the CRT4 is lighted bright by the detection signal from the detector 27 and restores to non-display or dark screen at the end of transaction. Since the CRT4 is lightened only when the ID card is loaded, the service life of the CRT4 is extended, the power charge is saved and the incorvenience to the user is avoided. |
