CHUCKING UNIT

PURPOSE:To make it possible to grip a workpiece with the center of the workpiece always being in a constant position independently of its diameter by constituting a chuck unit in such a way that a first and a second chucks opposed to each other moves the same distant respectively approaching and being separated from to each other by the rotation of a rotary drive shaft. CONSTITUTION:A first chuck 1 and a second chuck 2 are arranged with each cavity section of the chucks opposed. When a rotary dirve shaft 6 is rotated, a disk cam 7 moves a first inverted shaft 3 and a second inverted shaft 4 in the direction opposite to each other making the chucks 1 and 2 move the same distant approaching and being separated from each other. For this reason, a workpiece A can be gripped with its center always being in a constant position independently of its diameter.
