发明名称 DIRECT HEATING TYPE SUBLIMATION TRANSFER IMAGE RECORDING SYSTEM AND RECORDING MATERIAL USED THEREIN
摘要 PURPOSE:To shorten the printing time of an image as a whole, by a method wherein the ink layer side of a recording material is pressed so as to be contacted with a current supply head wherein a pair of electrode groups are arranged in a main scanning direction and a current is selectively supplied to the electrode groups on the basis of an image signal to generate heat while a support sheet is dyed with a dye sublimed by said heat to form a picture element corresponding to one line. CONSTITUTION:A recording material W, which is constituted by laminating an ink layer 2 containing a sublimable dye and generating heat by the supply of a current to a support sheet 1 dyeable with said sublimable dye is pressed to a current supply head 11 wherein a pair of electrode groups are arranged in a main scanning direction and a current is selectively supplied to a pair of electrodes E on the basis of en electrical image signal. By this method, a current is flowed to the current suply heat generating layer contacted therewith to allow the same to generate heat and the sublimable dye is sublimed by said heat to form a picture element corresponding to one line on the support sheet 1. Subsequently, the recording material W is moved by one line in a sub-scanning direction and a picture element corresponding to one line is similarly formed on the basis of the next electrical image signal and, hereinafter, similar operation is repeated. Only the ink layer generates heat and the accumulation of heat is prevented and the printing time of the image is made short as a whole.
