A lens holder for radial adjustment of bar lenses in an optics tube in the region of the lens ends, as is used for example in rigid endoscopes, is characterised by annular retaining means which hold the lenses at a radial distance from the inner surface of the tube. Spacer rings, tube compressions or, in a particularly advantageous manner, end collars can be provided as such retaining means on the axial spacer tubes which are normally provided.
