In an arrangement of a block to prevent a relay being switched back on, said relay having two contact arrangements, it is intended to prevent renewed making of the contact which is still serviceable, after welding of one individual contact. To this end, a pick-off piece 3 is provided, which is connected to both contact systems 1, 2/1',2', utilises the stroke movement of the moving contact parts 1, 1' and is moved during opening of only one contact 1, 2/1',2' into a position such that a blocking latch 9, 11/9', 11' which is connected thereto engages with a stop surface 12, 12' which is fixed to the housing. <IMAGE>
