PURPOSE:To securely prevent the tip end of a paper sheet from being folded by providing a V groove in a peripheral surface of a first conveyance roller and furthermore providing a guide plate in the captioned reversing device including said first conveyance roller as well as second and third conveyance rollers rolling at different positions thereon respectively. CONSTITUTION:The captioned device has a first conveyance roller 1 as well as second and third conveyance rollers 2, 3 rolling at different positions thereon respectively, and, a paper sheet 7 is, after allowed to pass through a contact portion between rollers 1, 2, guided by guide plates 5, 6 provided between the rollers 2, 3 to a side path, forced to go forward toward a contact portion between the rollers 1 and 3, whereby the paper sheet 7 is reversed. Thereupon, a V groove 1a is provided on the peripheral surface of the first conveyance roller 1, said V groove being parallel to an axis of the first conveyance roller. Furthermore, a copying paper converting/guiding plate 22 is arranged in a confronting relation to the first conveyance roller 1 so as to permit an angle theta between a downstream inner wall 1a of the groove 1a and said copying paper conveying/ guiding plate to be less than 90 deg.. |
