In the case of a tensioning clamp having a tensioning-strip outlet by means of a worm, whose worm housing consists of an integral metal moulding which surrounds the two clamping-strip ends and the worm and whose base section has a free edge section, which is located close to the edge of the clamping strip, of a side wall which is at least partially supported with its end surface on the base section and is under pressure when the clamping strip is pulled out, and whose other edge section has a bearing section, which extends the base section and is bent up close to the free edge section, and at least one projecting tab which engages in a recess in the side wall and points towards the worm, the tab surrounds the free edge section of the side wall in the shape of a hook and in a positively-locking manner. <IMAGE>
