The invention relates to a method for producing plug contacts having a large number of contact wires, which are fitted on a carrier part in such a manner that at least one molecular fusion has taken place at the junction point between the contact wire material and the carrier part material. In this case, the length of the contact wires is greater than the distance between the attachment points. A loop is thus produced. The wire loops thus formed can be fitted both parallel and at a specific angle in the axial direction. By means of this production technique, very thin wires can be used, for example having a diameter of less than (<) 0.008 mm.
