PURPOSE:To obtain multicolor images without color deviation by holding a recording material between a grip roll provided with many minute projections on the surface and a pinch roll facing a grip roll and moving it back and forth. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 1 is electrified by an electrifier 2 to obtain a uniform electric charge, and the drum 1 is exposed selectively with a laser beam modulated by a picture information signal of the first color yellow, and an electrostatic latent image is formed on the drum 1. The latent image is developed by a yellow toner developing unit 4 to form a yellow toner image, and this image is transferred onto a recording material 9 which is fed synchronously with the rotation of the drum 1 by a grip roll 9 provided with many minute projections on the surface and a pinch roll 7 facing the roll 8, and the yellow toner image is formed on the material 9. The recording material 9 is sent to a fixing unit 10 and is fixed to obtain a permanent visible image. Thereafter, the drum 1 is destaticized by a means 11 and is cleaned by a means 12. Next, the magenta image recording cycle is executed similarly, and further, a cyan image is positioned accurately on the recording material 9 and is transferred over. |
