PURPOSE:To provide the light weight captioned device with use of a ultrasonic motor as a drive source by providing a piezoelectric element and a projection on both surfaces of a C-shaped frame, and supporting a C-shaped rotor mounted on a C-shaped rotary plate coaxially with and rotatably on the frame while in contact with the projection of the C-shaped rotor. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of piezoelectric elements 2 are mounted on one surface of a C-shaped frame 1, said piezoelectric element being cylindrically shaped coaxially with said frame and serving as a drive source, while a projection 3 coupled with the piezoelectric elements 2 is provided on the other surface of the frame. While, a C-shaped rotor 8 is mounted on a C-shaped rotary plate 5 oppositely of a surface of the rotary plate to mount the tape cassette 6 via a support 7, and is rotatably supported via a roller 9 of an L-shaped support rod 4 provided standing from the frame 1. Moreover, a ball caster 10 is slidably mounted on a tip end of the support rod 4 via a support member 11, and is brought into close contact with the rotor 8 with the aid of a spring 12. Hereby, an ultrasonic motor is formed, which consists of the frame 1 as a stator and the rotary plate 5 and the rotor 8 as a rotor. |
