PURPOSE:To obtain a resin impregnated sheet containing no cavities and no residual solvent by combining a degassing vacuum chamber, a varnish impregnating tank and a desolventing vacuum chamber. CONSTITUTION:The sheet shaped substance 13 wound on an uncoiler 12 enters the 1st vacuum chamber 3 from between the inlet seal rolls 2 to degas the inner part and at the same time moisture and absorbed gas are discharged by heating of the radiant heater 7. The sheet shaped substance 13 which passed through the 1st vacuum chamber 3 enters the impregnating tank 4 to be vacuum-impregnated with varnish, then, enters the 2nd vacuum chamber 5, is vacuum-dried by the radiant heater 8 to remove the internal solvent also and varnish is fixed to the internal part of the sheet shaped substance 13. After completion of the vacuum drying, the sheet shaped substance 13 returns under the atmospheric pressure through the outlet seal roll 6, is impregnated again in the normal pressure impregnating tank 14 under the atmospheric pressure to adjust resin content, a quantity of attached varnish is adjusted by the squeeze roll 15 then dried in the drying chamber 16. |
