<p>A round baling machine with the press area peripherally located, with feed rollers which limit the press area, leaving a material inlet gap (15). In this way, the press rolls (30, 31, 32) which are positioned in front of the inlet gap, seen in the baling direction, are arranged so that they are increasingly displaced towards the inside, as a result of which the press area in front of the inlet gap (15) contracts, as it were, in a special manner. As a result, the bales are partly compressed to a greater extent, and this has a favourable action in particular if the material to be wound is brittle straw.</p> |
