PURPOSE:To prevent adverse influences of ozone or the like due to corona discharge with simple constitution by displacing a part of a shield case of a corona discharger to control the quantity of exhaused air. CONSTITUTION:When a corona discharger 22 does not contribute to image formation, a member 59a as a part of the shield case of the discharger 22 is displaced through a solenoid 68 or the like, and the quantity of exhausted air near the discharger 22 is increased. Thus, ozone generated by discharge, ozone prodcuts, etc. are removed well, and bad influences of ozone or the like such as the degradation of a photosensitive body 21 an images are prevented with the simple constitution. |
