PURPOSE:To prevent the degradation of a photosensitive body and images due to ozone or the like, which is generated by corona discharge, with simple constitution by exhausing forcibly air through an exhaust duct whose air inlet is opened to a corona discharger. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust ducts 63 whose air inlets 62 are opened to aperture parts 61 on rear faces of respective shield cases 60 of corona dischargers 22, 25, and 26 are joined to a copying machine cooling duct through an aperture 64, and air near dischargers 22, 25, and 26 is exhausted forcibly by a fan 45. By this focible exhaust, ozone generated by corona discharge, ozone products, etc. are attracted to a filter 47 and are removed. Thus, the degradation of the photosensitive body and images due to ozone or the like generated by corona discharge is prevented with the simple constitution, and images are formed well stably for a long period. |
