PURPOSE:To set the attenuation by one man by providing a variable attenuator circuit setting the attenuation depending on branch number so as to eliminate two men's work at a remote location. CONSTITUTION:A booster consists of a high frequency amplifier circuit 1, a branch circuit 2 and a variable attenuator circuit 3 and the high frequency amplifier circuit 1 incorporates a gain adjuster 7. After the variable attenuator circuit 3 is set up depending on the number of branches, a level meter is connected to a monitor terminal 6 to adjust the gain adjuster so as to obtain a prescribed level or over.
