PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption, by starting a thermometer by an external switch, and measuring and displaying temperature at every short time interval only during a specified time. CONSTITUTION:When a power source is turned ON, a clock signal is started. A timer is started so that the temperature detection is continued at every short time interval. Then, e.g., a temperature sensor S1 is selected by the command from a CPU3 based on the operation of a switch 1. The temperature, which is measured at the short time interval by the sensor S1, is displayed on a temperature display part 2 and also stored in a memory 4. Until the specified time, the temperature detection, display and storing are continued at every short time interval. Therefore, the latest temperature is displayed on the temperature display part 2 during the specified time. |
