PURPOSE:To cope with change of type of carrying object by providing carrying section for moving an object, moving section for varying the width at the carrying section and section for lifting the object thereby varying the width of conveyor with correspondence to the variation of the width of the object. CONSTITUTION:When carrying an object 6, handle 17 is manipulated to rotate a feed screw 15 thus to move the movable sideboard 10 in parallel against the fixed sideboard 14 and to set the gap between said board 10, 14 larger than the width of the object 6. At the same time, the timing pulley 18 and the interlocking pulley 22 are interlocked through a belt 27 to rotate the feed screw 23 thus to move the lifting section to the central portion. Thereafter, the object 6 is moved thrugh a belt 12 supported on said boards 10, 14 through the pulleys 2a, 3a and stopped by a stopper cylinder 26 then detected through a detector 28 and lifted by the lifting cylinder 25 from the belt 12. Here, the object 6 is adsorbed to the adsorbing section 21. |
