PURPOSE:To reduce a substantial waiting time by transmitting the top of the information corresponding to a recording medium required during the waiting time such as the rise time of a main information reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:Reproducing devices 5 and 6 wait requests, while they are rotating a disk where top parts for five seconds of all films recorded on all disks in a containing rack 1 are edited. When the number of a film which a viewer wants to see is inputted through a keyboard additionally provided on terminal display devices 7 and 8, a control computer 9 gives a command to a robot 2, a disk necessary for reproducing devices 3 and 4 is transported. For this time, reproducing devices 5 and 6 access the requested film and cause terminal display devices 7 and 8 to start displaying it through a switch 20. After the preparation of the reproducing devices 3 and 4 is completed, a signal is switched through the switch box 20, and a person for demanding can continues viewing the film without obtaining the unnatural feeling. Thus the waiting time can be basically shortened. |
