PURPOSE:To execute quickly and thoroughly desilverization and to obtain an excellent color image by incorporating the ferric complex salt of a specific org. acid as a bleaching agent into a bleaching (fixing) soln. entailing an electrolytic oxidation treatment. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photosensitive material is developed by the developer contg. the paraphenylene diamine color developing agent having >=amino groups having the groups -(CH2)n-CH2OH, -(CH2)m-NHSO2-(CH2)n-CH3, -(CH2)mO-(CH2)n-CH3, -(CH2CH2O)nCmH2m+1 (m, n are >=0) as the water soluble groups and thereafter the bleach-fixing soln. contg. the ferric complex salt of the diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid as the bleaching agent is supplied from a storage tank 14 for said soln. through an inflow port 10 into an electrolytic cell 1 where said material is subjected to the bleach-fixing entailing the electrolytic oxidation by a cylindrical type cathode 2 and a carbon anode 3. Staining is thus prevented and the desiliverization is executed thoroughly. The high-quality image having the excellent preservability is obtd. without inducing the defective color reproduction of the coupler is obtd.
