PURPOSE:To obtain a high-quality image good in desilverability, enhanced in image storage stability, and prevented from yellow stains by incorporating a specified org. acid ferric complex salt as a bleaching agent in a bleaching or bleach-fixing soln. and processing a photosensitive material contg. a polymer coupler. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contg. a polymer coupler is exposed and developed, and then, processed with the bleaching soln. or bleach-fixing soln. incorporating at least one selected from a group A of 17 kinds of aminopolycarboxylic acid ferric complex salts, such as diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid ferric complex salt, or at least one of a group B of org. acid ferric complex salts having an oxidation reduction potential difference of <=100mV in a standard soln. composed of 0.23M FeCl3, 0.305M org. acid., 1.0M ammonium thiosulfate, and 0.1M ammonium sulfite, controlled to pH of 5.0-9.0 by using an aq. ammonia and acetic acid, thus permitting desilvering to be rapidly finished with a bleaching or bleach-fixing soln. used successively for a long period and a superior color image prevented from stains, etc., to be obtained. |
