PURPOSE:To enable bleach-fixing processing suitable especially for processing a high- sensitivity color photographic material contg. silver iodide by incorporating at least one kind of specified ferric complex salts in a processing soln. capable of a color photographic sensitive material contg. a specified magenta coupler. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material contains a magenta coupler represented by formula I or II in both of which Ar is phenyl; Y1 is a group being released when the coupler couples with the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent and a dye is formed; X is halogen, alkoxy, or alkyl; n is 1 or 2; R is an optionally substd. benzene ring, and when n is 2, each of R may be same or different; R1, R2 are each alkyl or aryl; M is H or a releasable group similar to Y1; Y2 is H or -CH(R3, R4); R3 is R5-OCO-, -NO2, or the like; R5 is alkyl; and R3 and R4 may be same or different. This photosensitive material is exposed and developed with a color developing soln. and then, processed with the bleach-fixing soln. incorporating at least one of a group A of specified 17 kinds of aminopolycarboxylic acid ferric complex salts, such as diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid ferric complex salt, or at least one of org. acid ferric complex salts having an oxidation reduction potential difference of <=100mV in a specified standard soln. in a pH of 5.0-9.0, thus permitting desilvering to be rapidly completed. |
