PURPOSE:To perform a positioning job with a screen printer in a short time by detecting the positional relation between a reference hole of a printed board and a mark on a screen with a visual sensor and changing the relative position between said hole and mark. CONSTITUTION:A screen printer consists of a print base 1, squeezer 2, squeezer guide 3 and a screen. Marks 5a and 5b are put at both sides of the screen 4, and a printed board 6 is put on the base 1. Then reference holes 7a and 7b are drilled at both ends of the board 6 and opposite to the marks 5a and 5b. The light given from a light source 7 is reflected by a half mirror 8. Thus both marks 5a and 5b are irradiated via the holes 7a and 7b, and these irradiated marks are detected by TV cameras 11a and 11b. These image pickup signals are applied to a picture processor, and the positional relations are detected between holes 7a/7b and marks 5a/5b. Then a screen positioning device is controlled in order to secure the prescribed positional relation between those holes and marks. |
