PURPOSE:To manufacture a structural deformed reinforcing member, by a method wherein draw molding of reinforcing fiber impregnated with curable agent is performed within a mold, then a stringlike material is wound around the same under a semi-cured state, which is made to cure. CONSTITUTION:A fibrous material 1 is constituted by arranging a plurality of pieces of rovings 3 of reinforcing fibers 2 in parallel with each other, which is made to impregnate with a curing agent 4. Then draw molding of the fibrous material 1 impregnated with the curing agent 4 is performed into a desired cross-sectional shape by leading the material 1 into a mold 5 having a desired cross section such as a round shape, the drawn fibrous material 1 in a semi-cured state is obtained by heating the material 1 by a heating furnace 6 while the shape of the same is being controlled by covering the same with a tape by winding the tape around the same and then unfasten the tape after the material has been cut off at a desired length. Then structural deformed reinforcing member is formed by arranging two pieces of protrusion forming components 8 made of a cylindrical material whose cross section is round through pressure welding on the external circumference extending over the whole length in the longitudinal direction of the external circumference, which is made to cure by the heating furnace. |
