PLUG CONNECTION A plug connection for a shielded flat or round cable. A shielded connecting element is connected in one piece with the cable shielding. The shielding connector element includes a housing contact part which is in contact with a part lying on the ground or reference potential. The shielded connecting element for the flat cable extends between the cable core and the cable shielding and is in connection with the ground or reference potential. The housing contact part for the round cable is springloaded on the inside wall of the housing.
