发明名称 METHOD FOR APPLYING MGO TO GRAIN-ORIENTED SILICON STEEL SHEET
摘要 PURPOSE:To form forsterite films on both sides of a grain-oriented silicon steel sheet with a small amount of MgO by applying MgO to only the upper side of the steel sheet subjecting to decarburization annealing, coiling the steel sheet, and subjecting it to final finish annealing. CONSTITUTION:An MgO suspension in a tank 2 is stirred with a stirrer 4, a grain-oriented silicon steel strip 12 is transferred through the space between an applying roll 10 and a support roll 26, and the suspension is applied to only the upper side of the strip 12 by spraying on the strip 12 and the roll 10 with a feed pump 6. The strip 12 is sent to a drying furnace 16, where the upper side is dried with heaters 18, and the strip 12 is coiled around a tension reel 24 and subjected to final finish annealing. MgO can be applied uniformly only to the upper side of the strip 12 by 7-10g/m<2>, and forsterite films of about 0.3-1mum thickness can be formed on both sides of the strip 12 after the finish annealing.
