ULTRASONIC PROBE

PURPOSE:To produce an ultrasonic probe of high quality at low cost by fitting one end of the rotating shaft of a support which holds a piezoelectric oscillator to the internal wall of an ultrasonic wave cell, and providing an adjusting means which moves the support to the ultrasonic wave cell in the direction of the rotating shaft to the other end of the rotating shaft. CONSTITUTION:Coil gas of two rotary transformers consisting of a coil 42 provided on the internal wall of the uotrasonic wave cell 2 and a coil 43 provided on the end surface of a rotary oscillator 4 and denoted as d1 and d2. A bearing box 83 for a bearing 81 is made independent of the ultrasonic wave cell 2 so as to adjust the rotary oscillator 4 finely and axially, and a fine pitch screw is provided between the outer periphery of the bearing box 83 and the corresponding inner peripheral part of the ultrasonic wave cell 2 and turned clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the gaps from outside after the ultrasonic wave cell is assembled; and the bearing 82 is supported by a spring 84 to receive a thrust load and the ball on the bearing 82 is given a specific contacting angle to prevent shaft deflection.
