PURPOSE:To prevent the water leak of a diaphragm valve by gathering the liquid which flows-in from the inflow port at the center into an annular groove formed onto the periphery of a tubular projection part and discharging said liquid and pressing a diaphragm sheer onto the edge surface of the projection part. CONSTITUTION:The fluid which flows-in from an L-shaped inflow port 3 positioned at the center of a valve is gathered into an annular groove 6 formed onto the periphery of a tubular projection part 4 and discharged. A flexible diaphragm sheer 8 is pressed onto the edge surface of the tubular projection part 4, and the valve is opened and closed. Since the sheet 8 cuts-off water flow, uniformly pressed onto the edge surface of the tubular projection part, the sheet is prevented from being applied with an unreasonable force, and since the opening and closing gap of the annular sealing surface is made uniform, the opening and closing gap can be designed in reasonable ways. |
