PURPOSE:To form a high-definition image at a high speed by controlling a toner scatter path with electric fields produced by a recording and an auxiliary electrode, and sticking and fusing toner sticking on a recording body simultaneously and performing development and fixation together. CONSTITUTION:When a voltage is applied between the recording electrode 7 and a sleeve 2, toner 3 carried to a recording part leaves the sleeve 2 to fly toward the recording electrode 7 and stick on the recording body 6. At this time, the recording body 6 is warmed sufficiently by a heater 11, so the toner 3 is easily fused and fixed once sticking the recording body 6. The electric field distribution among the sleeve 2, recording electrode 7, and auxiliary electrode 9 show lines of electric forces by broken lines 12 and equipotential lines by full lines 13, and when the toner 3 leaves the sleeve 2 to fly toward the recording body 6, its flying path coincides with lines 12 of electric force between the sleeve 2 and recording electrode 7. Therefore, recording is performed to the same size as the width of the recording electrode 7 in a short voltage application time. |
