1. A method for compressing and conveying a gas containing a hydrocarbon liquid fraction comprising the following stages in combination : a) introducing a liquid fraction comprising a polar solvent into said gas, b) transferring said gas to a turning rotor compressor, c) compressing said gas in said compressor and recovering at least part of the liquid fraction contained in said gas in the course of the same stage, i.e. the compressing and separating are essentially carried out at the same time, d) re-introducing at least part of the liquid fraction collected in stage c) into the compressed gas, the remaining fraction being recycled at a point upstream of said compressor, and e) conveying said compressed gas resulting from stage d) to a receiving site, stage a) being capable of being carried out before or after stage b). |
