PURPOSE:To manufacture a one-side coated cold-rolled steel sheet having superior suitability to phosphating by applying an aqueous sodium borate soln. to side of a cold rolled steel sheet not to be coated before undercoating and finishing and by carrying out brushing with a brush having bristles implanted zigzag at the end of a final baking stage. CONSTITUTION:A cold rolled steel sheet is degreased, an aqueous sodium borate soln. is applied, and undercoating and baking are carried out. Said sodium borate soln. is applied again, finishing and baking are carried out, and at the end of the baking stage, brushing is carried out with a brush having bristles implanted zigzag. The steel sheet is then phosphated. A one-side coated cold-rolled steel sheet having a dense phosphate film consisting of uniform crystals can be manufactured. |
