PURPOSE:To recover floating dust on water surface with good efficiency by providing a water surface flow generator by which to allow water surface flow to flow into an inlet with a screen connected to its front face for a floating base on water surface. CONSTITUTION:Two inlets 3a and 3b for water surface flow are provided in one lower side of a base 1a with floats 2a and 2b, and dust-collecting screens 4a and 4b are provided to the front faces of the inlets 3a and 3b. Guide pipes 5a and 5b leading to the inlets 3a and 3b are erectly set toward the downside of the center of the base 1a, and propellers 6a and 6b connected to prime movers 8a and 8b are set in the pipes 5a and 5b to make up a floating type dust collector. The dust collector is floated on the surface of water in a dam, etc., and the propellers 6a and 6b are turned to generate water flow, whereupon floating dust is collected on the front face of the screens 4a and 4b and recovered into a hopper 30 by elevating a rake 12. |
