PURPOSE:To obtain a composition for forming a surface roghened film having desired surface roughness by adding a specified amount of a hydrophobic plasticizer to a soln. of an organometallic compound. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed amount of an organometallic compound is dissolved in an org. solvent such as methanol, and 100ppm-10wt% hydrophobic plasticizer is added to the resulting soln. to obtain a composition for forming a surface roughened film. The organometallic compound is selected from alkoxides of Si, Ti, Ta, etc., polymers of the alkoxides, etc., and the hydrophobic plasticizer is selected from phthalic esters, esters of dibasic acids, esters or oxyacids, etc. The composition is applied to the surface of a substrate, dried at ordinary temp. -50 deg.C in the air or in the presence of steam, and heated to >=80 deg.C to form roughened film by thermal decomposition. The light reflectance and transmittance of the substrate can be regulated according to the kind of the hydrophobic plasticizer and the amount of the plasticizer added. |
