<p>PURPOSE:To improve the safety by preventing application of voltage across the pattern electrode except when adjusting the optical axis thereby preventing erroneous adjusting of optical axis under rainy travel. CONSTITUTION:One-shot multivibrators 6-12 are fed power from a battery mount on car 2 to produce output pulses. Said pulses are fed to OR gates 14-20. Upon switching of operating switch 4 to the contact 1, power theta is fed through one-short multivibrator 8 OR gate 16 fixed electrode 26d pattern electrode 24d fixed electrode 26a motor 28 to start adjusting of the optical axis up and down. Upon completion of adjusting of optical axis to interrupt power supply, voltage is never fed from the rotary board 24 side to OR gate 16 thereby voltage is not fed from any OR gates 14-20 to the rotary board 24. Consequently, upon intrusion of water into the head light, the rotary board and the fixed electrode are shortcircuited thus to prevent erroneous driving of motor.</p> |
