PURPOSE:To obtain a fluorescent lamp that hardly generates irragularly flickering by providing a metal body, that is electrically independent of an electrode filament, on the discharge side of the electrode filament. CONSTITUTION:A support 5 is provided on a stem 2 electrically independently of an electrode filament 4 and a metal body, for example, a metal ring 6 is mounted on the end of the support 5. The metal ring 6 is protruded from the electrode filament 4 on the reverse side of the stem 2, that is, the discharge side of a fluorescent lamp. As a result, since stable anode oscillation is generated in the electrode filament, irregular flickering can be reduced exceedingly effectively. |
