PURPOSE:To enable image transfer by one registering and to easily obtain a color image by using a photosensitive body of laminated photoconductive layers of one having photosensitivity to a chromatic color A and one having panchromatic spectral sensitivity, and a photosensitive body of laminated photoconductive layers having photosensitivity to chromatic colors B and C, respectively, and carrying out prescribed processes. CONSTITUTION:The photoconductive layer 3 photosensitive to the chromatic color A and the photoconductive layer 4 having panchromatic spectral sensitivity are laminated on a conductive substrate to obtain the photosensitive body 1, and the photoconductive layers 3a, 4a photosensitive to the chromatic colors B and C, respectively are laminated to obtain the photosensitive body 1a. The body 1 rotating clockwise is charged with primary and secondary electrostatic chargers 7, 8 to charge the layers 3, 4 to different polarities, exposed to the optical color image of the original 6 to form electrostatic latent images different in polarity, the latent image of the layer 4 is developed with a black toner, that of the layer 3 is developed with a yellow toner complementary to the color A. Just likewise, the latent images of the body 1a are developed with cyan and magenta toners, respectively, and transferred to a transfer paper 32. |
