PURPOSE:The titled device having a compact and inexpensive structure, capable of thawing uniformly materials to be thawed, wherein an electrical radiation controlling plate is placed on the bottom of a heating chamber, frozen cakes in a packed state are placed on the electrical radiation controlling plate, and an electrical radiation controlling plate is set above the cakes. CONSTITUTION:The electrical radiation controlling plate 19 is placed on the bottom of the heating chamber 2, the frozen cakes 17 in a packed state are placed on the electrical radiation controlling plate, and the electrical radiation controlling plate 20 is set above the cakes. The top and the bottom electrical radiation controlling plates 19 and 20 are provided with openings to heat the cakes 17 uniformly. Electrical radiation irradiated in the heating chamber 2 has such an improved electrical radiation distribution that the cakes 17 are uniformly irradiated by the top and the bottom electrical radiation controlling plates 19 and 20 and the corner parts of the cakes which are usually thawed excessively and decorated parts are slightly irradiated with electrical radiation. The protector 21 made of an electrical insulating material for spark prevention and protection is set on the outer peripheries of the electrical radiation controlling plates. This device is compact and inexpensive device without requiring a large-sized device. |
