PURPOSE:To make it possible to control the tension of each running paper to a proper value, by operating the predetermined tension of the running paper at the inlet part of each printing unit from the detection value of the tension of each running paper at the outlet part thereof and constantly adjusting the tension at each inlet part on the basis of the operation result. CONSTITUTION:The tension of the running paper 2 between an intermediate drag roller 5 and a triangular plate shaped drag roller 6 is detected by a tension detection apparatus 15 and the detection signal obtained at this time is sent to an operation apparatus 16 and, simultaneously, the load signal of a dancer roller 10 is sent to the operation apparatus 16. This operation apparatus 16 performs operation from these signals and calculates the operation quantities to the press apparatuses 13, 14 of a loading apparatus 12 and the control signal obtained as the result of operation is sent to a loading force control apparatus 19 and pressing force control apparatuses 17, 18 to regulate the loading force of the loading apparatus 12 through the loading force control apparatus 19. The pressing forces of the pressing apparatuses 13, 14 are regulated through the pressing force control apparatuses 17, 18. |
