PURPOSE:To enhance the density of an image and the sharpness of a color without damaging the qualitative feeling and writing property of paper, by providing a coating means receiving a film forming stock substance and forming a uniform thin coating film over the entire surface of the recorded part of recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A spray apparatus 17 as a thin film coating means is constituted of the spray gun 18 provided so as to be opposed to the surface of a scanning drum 6, a tank 19 receiving a liquid film forming stock substance and guide rods 20, 20 for guiding the tank 19 at the time of the scanning of the scanning drum 6 in the longitudinal direction thereof. The above mentioned spray apparatus 17 operates so as to follow the operation of a printing head 3 but it is desirable to coat the film forming substance after liquid ink small droplets were adhered to recording paper. Therefore, coating is performed while slightly delayed timing and a position are held to the movement of the printing head 3 or the coating of an entire picture is performed after the recording of one picture is finished. |
